I bought this controller a few days ago and just had to take another trip back to return it. When I hooked it up with the PS3, it worked fine on the menu of the PS3. However, when i started a Playstation 2 game, it wouldn’t recongnize the controller no matter what USB port i put it in. So i tried switching to another game, same problem. It wouldn’t recognize the controller as even being hooked up to the station on a game. If that’s not bad enough, the instructions were no help whatsoever. -4 stars, what good is a controller if it doensn’t even work? And a 40 dollar paperweight is all it would be for all of us who still have PS2 games. Now i’m a big fan of Logitech controllers, i was completely impressed with their PS2 controllers, wonderful, they lasted for several years. But honestly, Logitech was a real dissapointment here with this controller. It looks like they rushed it out to try to get ahead in controller production. The controller lacked several things that is neccesary to a PS3 controller. A code of numbered lights on the controller to tell you what number it is paired in, I personally, don’t want to spend the afternoon calculating the seemingly random number of blinks on the USB adapter to figure out where the controller is paired. Second, as someone also mentioned, No sixaxis control. I think it still has the vibrators in there instead. Third, no bluetooth. A USB adapter will take up precious space and if that’s all you used, you could only get 4 people to play on your PS3 instead of being able to get more pairing with the Sony controllers. Overall, it’s a big dissapointement. Spend the extra $10 and get a standard Sony controller, it’s better than sending it back to wherever you bought it from.

I bought this controller because it was a cheaper alternative to the more expensive[. . . ]one. However you get what you pay for. . . . . I didn’t like the shape of the controller. . . . but i figured i could get used that. Then when I went downstairs to play with it the controls were different then what they were suppose to be which made for awful game play. . . . [. . . ]

Don’t buy this controller! Simply put, this controller is nothing more than a repackaged PS2 controller. It does not support motion sensing and does not support Bluetooth; meaning that you are going to have to tie up a precious USB port with a USB receiver in order to use this controller. What a complete letdown from Logitech.

J' admit that j' have acheté this without research, like j' always have été impressionné products of Logitech for the PC and PS2. However I am très détaché in the apparently intentional obstacles qu' they put in this contrA lor.
D' access the good. I n' had any problème to play games PS2 and PS3 the last days with him. Thus I don& #039; T know o
I loved my PS2 wireless Logitech gamepad so much, that I got one for my PC as well. It was an easy purchase when I picked up a PS3 to go with the Logitech controller as I figured I would feel right at home with the new gamepad.
I really like the ergonomics, the feel, the weight and the responsiveness of the PS3 Logitech gamepad. I find it to be much more comfortable than Sony’s sixaxis controller. But, the sixaxis has a few new features that I find myself stunned that Logitech didn’t include them in their PS3 gamepad. The first being the motion sensing, which I personally can live without, but it still would have been a nice inclusion. The second is nearly a deal breaker, as Logitech did not include the Playstation button witch is used to interact with the PS3 system. Logitech also uses a USB interface which some may have a problem with.
I have relegated my Logitech controller to be used as a second controller instead of my primary controller because of the aforementioned issues. It’s still nice, but it isn’t the complete product it should have been.
