Be the Next Great Songwriter Music Studio lets players express their musical creativity by giving them access to a full complement of tools to create digital music from scratch utilizing the guitar controller and drum kit. Players can create their tracks and then play them in-game or share the recordings with the entire Guitar Hero community through GHTunes. GHTunes allows other gamers from around the world to download and play the community’s original tracks. Available to PlayStation 3 gamers is Line 6’s guitar tone technology, enabling them to use amps, cabs, and effects from the Line 6 POD. Create the Band Budding rock stars can live out their rock ‘n’ roll fantasies by playing either a single instrument or any combination of instruments, in addition to the full band experience. When rocking as part of a band, up to four players can jam together in quickplay or as they progress through a career. Both band and single-player careers feature non-linear progression giving artists the option to change difficulty and instruments with a variety of different gigs available at any time. Never Jam Solo Again Virtual musicians in need of band mates can take their careers online forming worldwide ensembles so no rock star ever has to play a gig solo. Plus, GHWT adds a “Battle of the Bands” modes, which allows eight players to join online and challenge each other band-to-band to establish global supremacy. Customize Everything The character creator allows gamers to create a rock star with style as unique as their own. Absolute customization from the clothes, to the facial and body structure, to the tattoos and accessories, players are encouraged to unleash their inner rock legend. The Rock Star Creator doesn’t just allow players to build the ultimate rock god; the in-depth creators include the ability to customize guitars, drums and microphones. Adding yet another layer of personalization, gamers can create custom logos for their instruments, band, or album covers. A Set List for the Ages The Guitar Hero World Tour set list is comprised entirely of master recordings from some of the greatest artists of all-time including Van Halen, Linkin Park, The Eagles, and Sublime. There are over 85 tracks, plus frequent downloadable singles and track packs. Guitar Hero World Tour is a great game, as far as the musical rhythm based games go. I wouldn’t say it is anything special just another part of the line up. This time Activision decided to actually learn from Harmonix as they introduce the ability to play with other instruments aside from the guitar. It is best played in a group or online, but other than that it is nice to be able to play other instruments rather than the guitar that the game was originally designed for.

Very fresh songs for people of any generation. The guitar is easy to use, and the play has the graphs really ordered with high speed (such as guitars, jackets, shirts, etc) It& #039; SA must have for n' import which fanatic of music d' age.

I like the guitar kit for fact I love the guitar anyhow. If I do in the future wanna add drums separately and a mic I can although I ain’t one who likes to sing anyhow. The songs on here are good, boss battles are fun as well. I like the fact now you can make your own songs. The playstation 3 store has lots of good add ons too extra songs as well. I chose the ps3 version for that reason alone over the wii and such as I liked the psn addons . The graphics are excllent. game play is really fun as one comes to expect from this game. I haven’t tried any of the rockband games yet but may in the future. I like how you can also make your own avatar and personalize him or her which seems new to this as well. There are many features on this that one will have hours of fun with. Pick this up if your interested in a really fun game for the ps3 that all members of the family and your friends can enjoy. Plus you can also use the guitar to play “bass” instead if you rather play that instead of the guitar. ITs avery fun game and a good way to learn about music and play it.

Another year, another GH. I purchased this for just a few bands, Tool, 311, Sublime, Hendrix, and Metallica. The others were just a bonus and for the most part they are fun play, with of course a few exceptions. For me it is about 80% are fun, 5% are ok, and 15% just suck and only played them to get to the next setlist. With that off my chest i felt like it was worth it just to get to play the new bands that GH has never had like Tool. As for the guitar, i love it. It’s so much better than that Rock Band piece of crap. The biggest addition is the touch pad on the guitars neck. I only found myself using this a few times during the game because it is not forced on you which is cool because it takes some time to master touching the correct pads. It is also harder to touch the pad because it is just smooth plastic over all the colors and it is hard to tell what colors your fingers are on. All in all i would recommend this to anyone looking for more GH.
