J' stays a large ventilator of l' unimportant edition of part of Pusuit on the PSII, thus when j' saw the PSIII made s' to add a version with downloadable on the contents, j' had to improve. This play has gameplay smooth and a decent provision, misses l' recreation of l' edition of part of PSII but always has some nontraditional torsions d' recreation with the original board game.

How many hate the Trivial Pursuit board game raise your mouse, me too. The board game takes forever! So why did I buy the video game version? I wanted something the whole family could play on the PS3, even granny can play; who doesn’t even know how to use a PS3 controller.
The video game has 3 different modes:
Classic mode: just like the board game but you can complete it much faster because you get multi-choice answers, so even if you don’t know the answer you can make a wild guess and still get it right, which my 6 yr old is great at.
Clear the Board mode: when you get a pie piece that color disappear off the board and the board shrinks till no more colors remain, we were able to finish the game in 29 minutes!!
Fact & Friends mode: This is great for parties and is the funniest mode, when your question pops up you get to read it then everyone else gets to vote on whether or not you know the answer. If they vote no you don’t know and you don’t get the question they get a point and you don’t. They can also vote that they know the answer too and get points. There are also bonus rounds were you duel over pie pieces and can steal other player’s pies. My 10 yr old beat me in this mode not because he knew more because he just kept voting right and stoled my pie piece. You don’t have to know the answers to win, just guess whether the other person knows the answer or not, so young kids have a chance at winning.
The game is so much fun I download the Free Trivial pursuit movie pack, they actually had question about movies that were just in the theater like Forgetting Sarah Marshal, Leatherheads but it also has question about Chinese, Japanese & Korean movies (about 40% of the question) glad I got it for Free it is very annoying to read questions about movies you never heard of, but if they made an all-American movie trivial pursuit I’d buy it in a heart beat!!!
I really hope they make more version of trivial pursuit for PS3, it’s fun playing single player & the whole family!!

When I was a little girl I loved playing Trivial Pursuit, even though I was terrible at it and didn’t know hardly any of the answers. As a young adult this game is a blast. It is a lot more fun when you know a thing or two. I’m not a video gamer really. So I was looking for something I could, and would want to play with my boyfriend who is a gamer, and a good one at that. (pointless even trying to play against him) This is the game! We both had a blast. Great for families and/or friends, even good party potential. The questions are good and tough for the most part. Not only are you having a lot of fun but you are also learning all sorts of things from the different categories.
There was one irritating aspect however, thus the missing 5th star. Player 1 has the advantage when it comes to any kind of a head to head battle. If player 2 gets one question wrong, player 1 automaticly gets whatever point. If player 1 gets a question wrong, then player 2 also has to get one wrong or the battle proceeds. It is very unfair and was confusing at first so frustration mounted. Very infuriating and made the game a little less fun. I hope they fix this in the future. I lost a lot of pieces that maybe I wouldn’t have if it were fair, or even if I was player 1. If you switch back and forth for player 1 it evens the game out.
Aside from that, I highly recomend this game. Especially if you are sick of watching other people play all the time (am!) because either you aren’t into it, are terrible at video games, or both like me.

the game works well and I think captures enough of the basics of trivial pursuit. The electronic version adds some more interactivity like choosing between pictures or find an answer on the map, all of which are not in the regular board game.
It’s a good game but I wish they had included a level for questions so that I can play with my daughter getting “easy enough for her age” questions and hard ones for me !

The game is great!! All the fun of the original, online updates and “expansion packs” keep it current.
I have versions of Trivial Pursuit from around the world as well as era specific sets and find the PS/3 version of the game is great fun!!
Highly recommended!!!
